Michal Klimek
Bodywork Therapist
I came to work with the body through a tribe of healers, the world of psychoanalysis and behavioural science. My path as a psychoanalyst and behaviourist changed when I discovered that the connection between mind and body is deeper. I moved away from standard theory and practice and adopted completely different models over time. Through Osho and his philosophy of teaching students that mind, body, and spirit are one interconnected organic unity, I have engaged in a more holistic approach to people. With the eminent psychoanalyst William Reich, I discovered that our bodies embody and conform to our personality template. The body is a highly subtle intuitive receiver; we must be entirely within it to heal ourselves. I am also fascinated by Alexander Lowen's bioenergetic analysis, which is an adventure of self-discovery for me. It differs from similar explorations of the nature of the self by attempting to understand the human personality in terms of the human body.
I'm Satyarthi Peloquin's student, the author of the original MER method – Myofascial Energetic Release. Satyarthi's passion for working with the body and his discoveries about human development allows me to have a deep, clear understanding of the body's structure and its multidimensional functions. My training at Integral Body Institute broadens my knowledge about massage healing techniques, including joint release, healing trauma, craniosacral therapy and Biodynamic Breath and Trauma Release by Giten Tonkov.
Mission
My goal is to help others live healthier and more conscious life. My professional, experimental and individual approach during each session helps discover the possibilities of using yourself to work with the body and breath. Using holistic methods, I create a space to release pain and trauma. I also work in teams of professionals from various fields who constantly develop their techniques and experience on personal development paths.
Vision
The MER is, for me, an exquisite holistic way to work with the body, mind, and feelings as an organic whole. My vision is to expand my experience with Integral Body Institute, extend this wisdom globally and provide regular bodywork sessions to help different populations release physical and emotional pain. Zen Bodywork promotes a vision that our beliefs set the tone for healing is also essential. Positive attitudes accentuate growth; honesty is required to flush out counterproductive perceptions. Also, it is essential to know that your Intuitive guidance can liberate you from unconscious impulses that impede your healing.
Values
Development in the quality of life is essential for well-being. I’m constantly evolving my knowledge about my inner guide. I believe as we pursue with our empathy and love, we can reach our internal insights, which will lead us to experience a state of immediate relief from discomfort, pain and emotional disorders. Meditation also guides to quieting the mind, and this can help with long-term changes in structural and functional integration, emotional liberation, and psychological and behavioural changes.
Myofascial Energetic Release (MER)
Myofascial Energetic Release is considered the 'missing link' in massage and bodywork and is effective in treating pain and trauma.
Myofascial Energetic Release is a specialized physical and manual therapy used to effectively treat and recover soft tissue and fascial tension and restrictions. The word 'myofascia' is derived from the Latin word 'myo' meaning muscle, and 'fascia,' meaning band or bandage.
Fascia surrounds, fills, and protects every tissue, tendon, muscle, bone, ligament, and organ of your body. It is the connective tissue that holds the body together. The fascial system is a softening and supportive mechanism allowing the body to move safely without restriction or pain. In an ideal condition, the fascial system is relaxed and wavy in shape. In a system that is causing aches, pain, and restriction, the fascia has lost its pliability and is dehydrated, stiff, and stuck.
Fascia also responds to our emotional states and holds on to emotional memories. This dysregulation can be defined as difficulty or inability to cope, change or regulate painful emotional experiences. Feeling like sadness, anxiety, pain, and past trauma can embed themselves deep into the fascia.
Research has proven that fascia, like a muscle, has the ability to contract and relax and plays a major role in the mobility and stability of joints. Fascia acts as a tension and integrity model where tension and resistance rely on each other for stability. The fascial system can therefore be considered an interconnected secondary nervous system that transmits energy and information from head to toe. With this in mind, we can understand why sometimes pain in one part of our body can spread into other seemingly random unrelated body parts.
MER massage allows the client to enter a deep feeling of relaxation. Energy is stimulated to flow freely and nourish the body. The fascial areas that have become restricted through bad postural habits or over-use will feel looser, the body more open, and psychological bracing patterns released.

Services

Myofascial Energetic Release
(MER) is a deep, intuitive touch and holistic stress management. My goal is to help others find space and peace in the body and relieve pain to live a healthier and more conscious life. I work in synergy with the body and mind, combining various methods of fascia relaxation, assistive joint stretching and conscious breathing in the complete sense of touch. I also add tuning fork vibrations and sounds individually selected for the session to the healing art.

Holistic Massage
it should be seen as a nurturing process of touch and response. The key here is to tailor treatment to each person's unique needs, physical characteristics and personality. I often explain that I massage people, not bodies. For example, my approach to a person who comes to me to work through the trauma of a history of sexual abuse is very different from someone who just needs to loosen stiff shoulders after sitting too long in front of a computer screen.

Face Massage
is an excellent, non-invasive approach to restoring your youthful vitality. Kobido elements include a mix of smoothing and relaxing movements to relieve the face of the tensions that cause wrinkles, asymmetries and energy blocking. The massage stimulates cellular metabolism, oxygenates tissues, shapes the face, and eliminates the effects of stress. It brings great relaxation to the nervous system, thus effectively reducing the effects of stress on the body, headaches, insomnia and fatigue.

Revitalise Office Massage
is a stationary massage and the most popular and versatile treatment in offices and at events. It consists of a massage in a specially designed, portable, ergonomic chair, focusing on the client's neck, back, shoulders, arms and scalp. The power of touch will leave you refreshed, relaxed and ready for whatever you have planned next. It helps physically and mentally relax in the workplace, raising morale and commitment.
